Chrissy Gephardt is born

Christine Leigh (Chrissy) Gephardt is born on April 8th. This same year Richard is named one of the Outstanding Young Men in America and receives the Better Downtown Award from Downtown St. Louis for his efforts to help revive the city. They are among the first of many honors and awards, both local and national, he receives.
