Richard Gephardt marries Jane Ann Byrnes
Richard Andrew Gephardt marries Jane Ann Byrnes August 13th in Columbus, Nebraska. The next year the newlyweds buy a house at 4121 Fairview in St. Louis. It’s during this year that Richard and Jane become involved in local politics as Precinct Ward Captains in St. Louis.
