Gephardt sponsors "Partnership for Progress: US-NIS Conference on Democracy and Market Economy" in St. Louis (Oct)

This meeting brings together members of the administration and the business community with representatives from Russia and Newly Independent States (NIS). Discussions center on investing in the former Soviet Union and creating business exchange programs. Representatives from eleven countries participate.
