Gephardt announces Congressional re-election campaign (March 29)
The day after he withdraws from the Presidential race, Gephardt announces he is once again a Congressional candidate. In his announcement speech in Jefferson City he thanks his supporters for their assistance and urges them to help him continue to serve in the House.
